KMV Journalism students visit the Parliament of India

The students of Journalism and Mass Communication of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organized a visit to Parliament of India for the students. During this visit students observed the functioning and working structure of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. They also saw the proceedings of Parliament of India. Students were also taken to the parliament Museum where they learnt the history of Indian Patriotism. During this visit the Journalism students interacted with Union Minister Mr. Vijay Sampla in the parliament. While interacting with the students Shri Sampla elaborated the political structure of India and also congratulated the Department of Journalism for taking these kinds of significant initiatives for the intellectual growth of budding journalists. Students also had an interactive session with Mr. Pankaj Kapahi, an eminent Journalist, who enlightened the students with some important tips for TV Journalism. Madam Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the Department of JMC, HOD, Dr. Rubal Kanozia for this fruitful visit for the students. She maintained that appropriate practical exposure alongwith theory is the need of the hour and with strong dedication and commitment towards institution. Department of JMC is scaling new heights.
