Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Jalandhar has always pursued academic excellence relentlessly which is evident in the GNDU results every year. Janvi, student of the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication has topped the university in B.A. (JMC) first semester scoring 338/450 marks, close at heals are Dipanshu and Amanat Thapar with 316/450 and 313/450 marks respectively. They bagged the 5th and 6th ranks in the university merit list. Sarabjit Kaur of the same class with 302/450 marks has been placed at 10th rank. Tania Pathak and Garima Behl with 294/450 and 292/450 marks bagged 16th and 19th positions respectively. With a score of 280/450, Himani Talwar ranked 23rd in the Merit list. The overall consistent and spectacular performance of the class as a whole is evident and it proves that the students compete only with themselves and none else. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the merit position holders and advised them to work hard. She also congratulated the faculty of Department of Journalism and Mass Communication for their dedication towards the growth of the department.
