P.G. Department of Chemistry, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (The Heritage and Autonomous Institution), Jalandhar organized “PLANT A HOPE” a tree plantation drive for all science students on 7st December, 2021.We are striving towards a greener planet with our regular tree plantation drives. The purpose of this drive is to promote and protect the green cover in the Country.These trees are an investment for future generations that shall provide natural shade in open spaces and provide cleaner air to breathe by increasing green cover. The KMV chemistry NINJAS group cleaned the backyard area of Chemistry department and planted saplings of different trees. The total of 30 students participated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwived emphasized the importance of tree implantation and said that we must plant trees so that we could provide a better environment to our upcoming generations. She said that KMV was playing its role for protection of the environment.
