Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been at the fore front in imparting quality education to the students. In this regard, the VIPNET(VigyanPrasar Network club) of P.G. Department of Physics celebrated the 103rd birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai, Father of Indian Space Program. In the event the presentation was delivered by the students which covered Dr. Vikram’s will to establish science community in our country. The event was attended by the post graduate and under graduate students of Physics. Further, students also explained about the achievements and life of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai & also discussed about the role of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai in Indian Space Program. Vikram Sarabhai Science Society of Physics Department comes under prestigious VIPNET of Government of India. The VIPNET club of Physics department is one of three clubs in Punjab which has been upgraded to the Silver Category due to the hard work. In the end of the event, a small interactive quiz was organized to boost the participation of students and winners were awarded with the gifts. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Dwivedi lauded the efforts of PG Department of Physics and also encouraged the students to show their maximum participation in further upcoming events.
