Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No. 1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey- 2022 celebrated Kargil Vijay Divas to salute both the known and the unspoken of soldiers who fought bravely and laid down their lives to protect the borders of our Nation during the Kargil war. During the celebrations, NCC cadets prepared short video clips and posters. The students of KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School also participated in poster making competition & slogan writing competition to pay their rich tribute to the great martyrs. Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the Nation should never forget its Heroes & their proud remembrance and rich legacy should be passed on to the coming generations. She further maintained that we all salute the contribution made by the Great Indian Army in protecting the nation and providing a conducive environment for growth and prosperity of the largest democracy on the earth. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Lt. Seema Arora, Incharge, NCC, Mrs Veena Deepak, Coordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School and NCC cadets for successfully organising the celebrations.
