A Suitable Platform to Channelize Creativity & Spread Positivity

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 in India by India Today Ranking (various categories) has always been at the forefront in making a noble contribution to the society. To channelize the creativity of the students at their home, KMV has its own blog titled KMV Expressions. During these days of lockdown, students from all streams have made a very positive use of this blog where they are regularly sending many poems, articles and stories to this blog in order to generate the awareness about COVID-19. It is important to mention that this blog KMV Expressions is an initiative of the Department of Student Welfare. Students have written many articles highlighting the precautions and safety measures to be implemented to tackle this deadly disease. They are also exploring their creativity by self composing poems on range of topics from nature, nationalism & self analysis.Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this type of activities helps in channelizing the creative energy of the students to a positive direction. Students are able to express themselves through this platform and they are also dedicating their lockdown period to the literary and academic activities with the help of this blog. Madam Principal also lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare and other faculty members for motivating the students to participate in this noble initiative. She adumbrated that KMV will continue its awareness campaign on regular basis so that students and faculty members of KMV can make their humble contribution to this humanitarian cause.
