KanyaMahaVidyalaya (Autonomous) organized Poster making and Slogan writing competitions on l to celebrate “World Water Day on the theme ”Water for Peace”.The event was organized by Department of Environmental Studies in collaboration with P.G. Department of Zoology. Every year college grabs opportunity to sensitize students and institutional faculty regarding this vital environmental issue. KMV’s Water Warriors Team participated in the event to showcase their creativity. The students emphasised on saving water in regular use and also apprised people about the ways to save water. Students made posters and slogans of Save Water to inculcate values of water conservation among people.More than 200 students participated with full zeal and enthusiasm in the event to showcase their creativity. Students made posters and slogans highlighting the importance of water and need to save water. In the competition, Harmanpreet Kaur from B.Voc. (TD&AT) S-4 bagged 1^st position, Palak from B.Voc. (TD&AT) S-4 bagged 2^nd position and KritiVerma from B.Voc. (TD&AT) S-4 bagged 3^rd position.
