KanyaMaha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a one-day national webinar on employment opportunities in Hindi. The webinar was organised by PG Department of Hindi. Prof. Sunil Kumar, Head, Hindi Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, was the resource person during the event. During his address, he acquainted the students with the increasing acceptability and importance of Hindi at national and international levels, stating that the horizon of Hindi today extends to journalism, translation, radio, television, social media, and advertising. Through Unicode on computers, Hindi has become the first choice of Hindi lovers on the internet as well. He also inspired all the students to take pride in being Hindi learners and assured them that if they choose to connect with Hindi with genuine emotions, a bright future in Hindi awaits them. His motivational address was attentively listened to by all students with interest and enthusiasm.After the lecture, students also asked relevant questions to identify the areas of work in Hindi and establish contacts, all of which were addressed by the resource person. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed gratitude to the resource person for providing valuable information to the students on the subject. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Vinod Kalra, Head, PG Department of Hindi and other faculty members for successfully organising the webinar.
