Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment, Ranked No.1 in India by India Today Ranking (various categories) is serving the society ceaselessly in these difficult days of lockdown through various initiatives. In a new initiative the faculty members as well as all the students of KMV are participating in a Collective Prayer for the whole humanity at 10:30 am daily from their homes. This initiative has been commenced in order to experience the power of collective prayer. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that by praying together we must ask for human suffering to end and to keep us all safe with our families. She further maintained that we must all be together in spirit while we pray as collective prayers have unimaginable powers. In the present times people are experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress of all kinds. This collective prayer is very essential as it is very important to remain mentally buoyant and positive to ensure physical, mental and spiritual health.
