Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar, an autonomous and heritage institution, honored four faculty members of PG Department of Physics on occasion of Saraswati Pooja for their achievements and dedication for the institute.

Head of PG Department of Physics Mrs. Parminder Kaur Cheema was honored for her outstanding service and dedicating 48 years of  her life to the organization. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi praised Mrs. Parminder Kaur Cheema for her unwavering commitment and exemplary service.

Also other Two Faculty members Dr. Neetu Verma and Dr. Surbhi Sharma of P.G. Department of Physics, was honored for publishing a patent on “System and method for automatically operating stagnant water ejector”. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated both the faculty members. She said that the proposed idea is an effective remedy for the ejection of stagnated water and should be commercially available at institution, cities and inter-cities level.

Institute also honored Dr. Sandeep Kaur on successfully completing her Ph.D and wished her good luck for her future endeavors. She also congratulated the Physics Department for providing its students such big opportunities and encouraged them to do their best in future also.
