Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Punjab an autonomous and heritage institution has always focused on developing entrepreneurial skills among students. Among such initiatives, one was to celebrate World’s entrepreneurship sammelan on Sept 4, 2023. The Governor of Punjab, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit graced the event. The Governor highlighted the pivotal role played by entrepreneurship in driving economic growth, fostering innovation, and generating employment opportunities within Punjab. The Governor also took a keen interest in the entrepreneurial spirit of students by visiting various stalls set up by different departments of KMV. Students from around 25 schools across the region also attended the event. On this occasion, students of P.G. Department of Physics organized an innovation stall. Students displayed their developed prototypes like smartphone operated Bluetooth car, stagnated water automatic ejector, touchless hand sanitizer, automatic attendance, radiometer, tap n water, dynamic swing, plasma globe etc. The smartphone operated Bluetooth car, stagnated water automatic ejector, touchless hand sanitizer and magic faucet mug became the centre of attraction of Innovation stall attracting the attention of visitors.Governor of Punjab, Sh. Banwarilal Purohit also interacted with students and encouraged their efforts. The Innovation Stall Visit was a rewarding experience for both organizers, and visitors. It provided a platform for students to explore the world of innovation and technology, fostering a spirit of creativity and curiosity. The success of this visit encourages us to continue organizing such events to nurture the innovative minds of our students and prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the future.  Overall the event was very interesting and meaningful. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi also applauded the incredible efforts of students.
