Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar, an autonomous and heritage institution, has always been dedicated to fostering innovations in science education to empower students with inclusive growth. The institution is committed to contributing to women’s empowerment and building a better society, which remains an ongoing effort at KMV, The Heritage Institution. Recently, Dr. Neetu Verma, Associate Professor, in Physics was invited to give a lecture at the Convention organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. Dr. Verma delivered an insightful lecture on the topic of “Training the Trainer” as part of the Seminar on Applications of Science for Society. Her exceptional presentation left a lasting impression on the audience. The positive reception of Dr. Verma’s presentation was evident in the enthusiastic response from the convention attendees. Her ability to engage and connect with the audience, coupled with the relevance of her topic, left a lasting impact on all those present. Her presentation provided valuable insights into effective teaching methodologies, inspiring and equipping educators to further enhance their skills in imparting knowledge. Dr. Verma was awarded with the title of  Innovation Ambassador for the next five years. This award is a testament to her unwavering commitment to advancing science education and fostering innovation within the community. This recognition from the Indian Association of Physics Teachers underscores her significant contributions and leadership in the field.
