Five year integrated Masters programmes for all streams

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) has established a new milestone in new age college education with introduction of Five-Year Integrated Programmes in Science, Commerceand Humanities in sync with New Education Policy of Government of India. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that under this system students are offered multiple exit system. After three years students can exit with BA/ B.Sc./B.Com. degree in the major subject. After four years the students can exit with Honours degreeand after five years with Master’s degree. The year dedicated to hons programmes will be exclusively focused on specialisation on concerned stream. These programmes are in sync with new education policy of Government of India and at par with Internationally accepted framework of education. Along with this student will be studying in credit system which will help them to mobilise their credits globally. The whole process of credit transfer will be paperless as students are getting registered at academic bank of credits (ABC).KMVprograms with globally accepted syllabus and curriculum play a crucial role in preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world. By designing their programs to align with international standards and best practices, KMV ensures that graduates possess a well-rounded skill set that is relevant and applicable across various industries and countries. She further maintained that one of the core objectives of this initiative is to maximise placement opportunities for the students as a result nine students from KMV has bagged international placements in USA and other countries at a very high pay packages. KMV also emphasise upon a comprehensive and diverse educational experience, incorporating both theoretical knowledge and practical applications to equip students with the necessary tools to thrive in a globalised job market.
