Objective: To make participants understand the process how innovation development and startup play crucial role in addressing the growing global demand for seafood while minimizing environmental impact.

P G Dept of Zoology of KanyaMahaVidyalaya, Jalandhar conducted an e-talk on “Innovation & Startup in Aquaculture” by Dr Amit Mandal, assistant Professor, Dept. of Aquaculture, College of Fisheries, GADVASU. Dr Mandal shed light on key developments and opportunities in this rapidly evolving field. The talk featured prominent figures from both the aquaculture and technology sectors, who shared their insights on the exciting innovations taking place in the industry. The event ended with a healthy discussion and the vote of thanks by Head of the Department, Dr. Archana Saini. The lecture was very enlightening, informative and useful for all the participants and there were almost 90 student participants.
