Principal of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi extended best wishes to the staff members and students on the occasion of Diwali. While addressing everyone, she talked about celebrating this festival with peace and mutual love, while expressing concern regarding environmental pollution, she also appealed everyone to celebrate a pollution-free eco-friendly Diwali. She also wished that this festival of lights brings joy, success and prosperity in everyone’s life. She averred that this whole year has been full of achievements for KMV and it is wished that this success story of KMV should continue always. Various activities like poster making, rangoli making and power point presentation were also organised by the computer club of KMV with the aim of spreading the message of celebrating green and pollution free Diwali. Through their posters, the students created awareness about celebrating the festival of Diwali by keeping the environment clean, free from firecrackers, and also shared information about various ways of celebrating eco-friendly Diwali through power point presentations. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana, Head, PG Department of Computer Sciencefor successfully organising the event.
