Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous), a leading educational institution, is dedicated to empowering women and contributing to societal development. As part of its commitment to uplift the status of rural women, the college  successfully conducted a free vocational training program in Cosmetology, Fashion Designing and Basic Computers. This year, more than100 young women from rural areas were provided with comprehensive training, by the Women Empowerment Cell of the Gandhian Studies Centre, equipping them with essential skills to secure sustainable livelihoods. It is pertinent to mention that since 2008 through this initiative, KMV  has empowered more than 5000 women to date, making a significant impact on their lives and communities. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that since 2008, Gandhian Studies Centre has been providing free vocational training in Basic Computer, Fashion Designing and Cosmetology to economically weaker class women. Mentoring and counseling sessions are also organised for women under the centre from time totime. Moreover, GandhianStudies Centre also organises training camps in villages for all those women who cannot come to the college and the college also provides free bus service to these women. Madam Principal lauded the effortsof Dr. Monika Sharma, Director, Gandhian Studies Centre for guiding and mentoring the girls.
