Human rights are the foundation of social development: Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous ) celebrated Human Rights Day. The celebrations were organised by Department of Political Science in collaboration with the Human Rights Department, Student Welfare Department, NSS Department and PG Department of English. In the events, including poster making and essay writing, students actively participated, raising awareness about human rights. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivediduring her addressdiscussed human rights in detail, emphasising them as the fundamental basis of social development. She appealed to everyone to respect each other’s rights, follow their duties with integrity, and adopt human rights in the true sense. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare, Mrs Ashima Sahni, Head, Political Science Department&Dr. Iqbal Singhfor successfully organising the celebrations.
