Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) celebrated Republic Day with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebrations were organised jointly by the Department of Student Welfare, PG Department of English&PG Department of Cosmetology. During the celebrations, the students participated enthusiastically in activities like poster making and face painting, where they presented the country India as unity in diversity by singing the glory of the country. Describing the importance of rights like equality, education, justice, freedom to express one’s views etc., the importance of democracy in a country like India was also highlighted. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi made everyone aware of their fundamental rights as well as the observance of fundamental duties, so that together we as a citizen can play an important role in the nation building. Along with this, Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare and Head, PG Department of English&Department of Cosmetology for organising the celebrations successfully.
