The 10th National Handloom Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Postgraduate Department of Fashion Designing at KanyaMahaVidyalaya (KMV), Jalandhar. The event highlighted the importance of promoting Swadeshi, supporting the handloom industry, and emphasizing sustainability in fashion and design.

In her address, Principal Prof. Dr.Atima Sharma Dwivedi spoke about KMV’s ongoing efforts to popularize handloom and handicrafts. She stressed the need to support artisans, who not only contribute to the nation’s economy but also play a vital role in preserving and reviving India’s rich cultural heritage.
