The Postgraduate Department of Fashion Designing at KanyaMahaVidyalaya (KMV) set up a vibrant and sustainable stall during the Teej Celebration on 24th August 2024, located in front of the auditorium. The stall, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of both faculty and students, featured a wide range of eco-friendly and handcrafted items.
The display included beautifully crafted jewelry, intricately designed rakhis, elegant table runners, decorative mirrors, and more, all created with sustainable materials. Each item not only celebrated traditional craftsmanship but also reflected the department’s commitment to promoting environmentally-conscious design practices. The use of eco-friendly fabrics, natural dyes, and recyclable materials underscored the focus on sustainability.
The stall attracted numerous visitors, who appreciated the creativity, quality, and environmentally responsible approach of the products on display. This initiative not only highlighted the talent of students and faculty but also contributed to a more sustainable and eco-friendly Teej celebration, offering attendees a unique shopping experience that aligned with the values of both tradition and sustainability.
