Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine celebrated the festival of Lohri with fervour & enthusiasm. The celebrations commenced with the address of Principal Prof. Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi. During her address, Prof. Dwivedi extended her Lohri wishes to each and every member of KMV family. Prof. Dwivedi averred that we at KMV have so many reasons to celebrate this festival. First & foremost reason is that KMV has again achieved top rankings in India in the survey of best colleges conducted by the top reputed magazines of India such as India Today & Outlook. She further maintained that KMV has also been successfully running the autonomy by introducing various student friendly reforms at the college & imparting quality based education to the students according to the needs of 21^st century so that the students can be made globally competitive. She stated that the successful model of KMV is being followed by other institutions also. Prof. Dwivedi said that during the COVID-19 pandemic, KMV contributed much to the society through its various philanthropic activities such as free distribution of face masks & food etc. Madam Principal appreciated the contribution of all the staff members of KMV for working hard & efficiently and taking the college to the new heights. In the conclusion, Prof. Dwivedi wished everyone great prosperity & health in the coming times. A cultural program was also organised during the celebration. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Gurjot, Dr Madhumeet and the whole organising committee for successfully organising the celebrations.
