KMVites participating in various International Programs
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No. 1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey, Outlook Magazine & Times of India Survey- 2021is an internationally acclaimed institution which excels in International Programs. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV has international collaborations with Chatham University, USA, Lesley University, USA, Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary, Boston University, USA, College of the Rockies, Cranbrook Campus, Canada and over the years the students have colossally benefited from various collaborative programs. Under the exchange programmes, KMVites have frequently visited universities like Harvard University, Chatham University, Boston University and even got admission in various acclaimed US Universities. Under MOU signed with Lesley University, USA KMV undergraduate students can shift their grades to Lesley University, USA after first year of studies at KMV. The faculty from Boston University regularly interacts with our students. The visits of Prof. John Battaglino, Dean, Student Welfare, Boston University have been to the ample credit of KMV. KMV’s Department of Student Welfare is modelled on the lines of the Department of Student Welfare, Boston University. Our students had also been selected to attend Summer Internship Programs at Boston University. KMV has also signed an MOU which is a monumental international education partnership between two globally acclaimed institutions. Under this partnership, KMVites will attend a semester at Eotvos Lorand University during the Masters Program. Many luminaries from Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary have enriched KMVites with their regular inputs through visits to KMV including Dr Robert Urban from the Institute of Psychology, Eotvos Lorand University, Hungary & Ms. Katalin Erzsebet Felvinczi. Faculty of KMV has also conducted research projects in collaboration with ENEA, Italy and COE College USA. Students of department of Physics got fellowship from ICTP, Italy to do research work at ENEA, Italy in 2011 and 2020. Recently, it is a matter of great pride that students as well as faculty members of KMV have been granted Bilateral State Scholarships for Summer University Courses by the Government of Hungary. Four students of M.A. (Psychology) along with one Faculty Member have been granted this Scholarship to attend Summer Course. Over the years many foreign teachers have attended KMV to teach foreign language to the students. Prof. Dwivedi further maintained that staying true to its relentless commitment to women empowerment, futuristic vision and providing lucrative avenues for career advancement, KMV’s Global Education is truly a game-changer in helping its students stand tall above the rest.
