Students pay their gratitude to their teachers

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No. 1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey, Outlook Magazine & Times of India Survey- 2021 organised a special program to celebrate Teachers’ Day. The celebration was organised by Department of Student Welfare. During the celebration, the students participated enthusiastically and paid gratitude to their teachers. On this occasion, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi in her address as the Chief Guest congratulated all on Teachers’ Day. She also paid her tributes to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Lala Dev Raj, founder of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya on this occasion. She described the teacher as a beacon of honesty, dedication, high conduct & hard work who always work for the  strong foundation of her students. She also apprised the students in detail about the various activities being undertaken by Kanya Maha Vidyalaya for the holistic development of the students and its commitment for women empowerment. Apart from this, the students contributed immensely in making the event memorable by performing songs, group dance, solo dance, folk dance & by organising fun games for their teachers. Students also designed beautiful cards for their teachers. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare & all the members of the Student Council for the successful organisation of the event. Ms Aarzu was the moderator for the event.
