Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Autonomous and Heritage Institution, Ranked No.1 College in Punjab and Top National Rankings by India Today Survey, Outlook Magazine & Times of India Survey- 2021 online National level creative event to celebrate World Rose Day 2021. The world rose day is celebrated to spread awareness, give hope and to cheer the people fighting from cancer. During the event titled“Welfare of Cancer Patients”, various competitions such as poster making and video message on Cancer awareness were held. Students participated in these competitions with full zeal and enthusiasm. This National level event was conducted online via zoom platform, where the students with best poster and video message were selected and rewarded for their creative ideas. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that these kind of activities plays an important role in spreading awareness about this disease. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of PG Department of Chemistry for conducting online session in this pandemic and said that such endeavours should be a regular feature.
