KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organised collage making, poster making & pot painting activity on the topic ‘Say Not To Drugs’ under Buddy programme launched by Punjab Government to curb the menace of drug abuse. The activity was organised by Department of Student Welfare. Drug abuse has been Punjab’s band and burden and youngsters are most vulnerable to this malpractice of intoxication. Hence, KMV has Pledged to fight against this evil practice and under the first- of-its -kind mission the school has made 32 groups of more than 350 students. In each group, there are 11 students and one of these 11 students one is the Senior Buddy who leads her group members to participate in various activities. The purpose of this activity was to generate awareness among students and they wholeheartedly participated by making collages, Posters and Painting Pots. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi encouraged all the students to keep participating in these kind of activities and motivated them to keep spreading awareness in the society. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare, Ms. Veena Deepak Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. school, Ms. Anand Prabha and all the members of Department of Student Welfare for organising the activity.
