Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a special program to pay tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on his 114th birth anniversary. The program was organised by Department of Performing Arts. Along with paying homage to the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh installed in the hostel of the school, the students of the music department namely Lakshita, Aruna, Rajni, Meher, Vandana, Pavitra etc. energized the atmosphere with patriotic songs. Apart from this, the entire campus was drenched in the colour of patriotism with the dance performed by the girl students on the song Rang De Basanti.  Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi on this occasion encouraged all the students to take inspiration from the life and philosophy of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh. She averred that Sardar Bhagat Singh shares a very deep relation with KMV. She further maintained that serving our country with full devotion and creating a responsible society would be a true tribute to him. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Gurjot, Mr. Yogeshwar, Mrs. Ritu & Music Department for the successful organisation of this program.
