Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised a special program to celebrate World Animal Day under DBT Star College Scheme. The program was organised by PG Department of Zoology. The students participated in this activity with full zeal and enthusiasm. The program was organised with the objective of creating awareness and ensuring the safety and care of animals. During the program, Harmanpreet Kaur, a student of M.Sc. Zoology semester III, while presenting the various aspects of this day in detail through power point presentation, also encouraged to spread awareness related to proper maintenance of animals in the society. Along with this, Ipshita also presented information on the related subject with full creativity. Apart from this, videos based on wild life were also shared with the students. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi lauded the efforts of the students and Mrs. Sadhna Tandon, Head, PG Department of Zoology and other faculty members for successful organisation of this program.
