P. G. Department of Economics organized an educational trip to Centre of Excellence for Vegetables, Kartarpur on 9th May, 2022. Twenty five   students of the department along with six faculty members visited the place. Dr. Daljit Singh Gill (Project Officer) apprised the students about the modern techniques applied at the center to grow chemical free exotic vegetables with the help of power point presentation. Students were shown the green house and usage of   new techniques to grow plants. They were also acquainted about new hybrid varieties of plants and their uses. They were demonstrated poly house techniques, mulching and soil less cultivation. Overall it was very informative and educational trip.
