Students of KanyaMahaVidyalaya,Jalandharparticipated in the Ideathon (INTER-INSTITUTIONAL IDEA COMPETITION(IIIC’23) conducted at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar from 3rd February to 5th February. The Competition was based on the theme ‘Providing the solution of current Real-time Problems.’ Three teams from KMV actively presented their three innovative projects in the competition and provided out of box solutions to the basic problems. 1^st team proposed the solution to remove the stagnated water on the roads named as ‘Roadex-trellis’. It was lead by Haramanpreet Kaur (M.Sc. Physics), followed by members Barjinder Kaur (M.Sc. Chemistry) Rush Chambyal (B.Sc. Hons. Physics). 2^nd Team lead by Lavleen Saini (M.Sc. Physics) with her teammate Navneet Kaur (B.Sc. NM) come up with the idea of going touchless with touchless switches & Hand-Sanitizer that can be operated in our own campus. Sandeep kaur (M.Sc. Physics) being the leader of 3^rd Team presented idea to make application named ‘seg-re-create’ which will influence the society to improve their waste collecting habits. Beenu Kumari (B.Sc. NM) Shruti Kalia (B.Sc. Med) demonstrate the idea in front of Judges. These teams are mentored by KMV IIC and Science Faculty members Dr Neetu Verma, Dr. Surbhi and Dr. Narinder. Teams   were motivated to be completely driven towards making solutions of real world problems. Ideas were very much appreciated by by prestigious Judges . Nearly 100 contestants shared their ideas. Our one team having the idea of Roadex Trellis led by Ms Haraman mentored by Dr. Neetu Verma and Dr. Surbhi was selected among top 30 achievers of IDEATHON 2023. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Congratulated and inspired the team for their wonderful work .
