Dr. Narinderjit Kaur, Assistant Professor, PG Dept. of Chemistry, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar, conducted a session on ‘Career options/ Job placements after B.Sc. & M.Sc.’ on 17November 2021 (2.30 pm to 3.30 pm) with the Science students (all) B.Sc. Medical/ Non Medical/ Computer Science, B.Sc. Bio-technology, M.Sc. Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Mathematics/ Physics. The session on different career options/ employment opportunities available for science students under government & private sector jobs were discussed. Students were also encouraged to get themselves registered for Govt. Employment exchange & various other online portals to get job alerts. Students were given hands-on training on how to create accounts on various employment exchanges in Punjab & other states as well as on Linked in and how to search jobs on it. We took feedback from students also. More than 100 students attended the session.
