Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has beenConstantly working for the overall development of their students. With this Objective, PG Department of Computer Science and Applications organized an Inter-College IT GAMMAT-2022.

This IT fest consisted of various events that witnessedHuge participation from the students from the department of Computer Science &Applications. There was an overwhelming response witnessing more than 250Participants in 13 events namely, Ad Mad Show, Group and Solo Dance, Best out ofWaste, IT Collage, Net Savvy, Rang Tarang, Fashion Show, Fancy Dress, LogicBuilding, IT Quiz, PowerPoint Presentation, Poster Making and Logo Designing.

The chief guest for the event was Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi. Addressing the gathering, she emphasized on the importance of participation in competitions. She also inspired the students to discover their talent by taking up new challenges in life. She averred that such events provide a good platform to students to display their creativity and talent besides getting practical exposure.

Tannu Suman of BCA semester III and team of Harpreet and KV Sonal jointly bagged first position in PowerPoint presentation. Meghdeep Kaur and Sukhnandan Kaur both of BCA Semester V bagged second and third position was bagged by Khushi B. Voc. (AI & DS) Semester III. In Poster making first position was bagged by Jass Kaur of BCA Semester V, Prabhjot Kaur of B.Voc. (MSP) Semester III bagged second while third position was bagged by Sukhnandan Kaur of BCA Semester V. In Solo dance, Payal of M.Sc. (CS) Semester I and Harjot Nikita of B.A. Semester I jointly won first prize while Nandini Sharma of B.Voc. (MSP) semester III bagged second position. Sukhnandan Kaur (BCA semester V) and Gurjeet Kaur (B.Sc. (IT) semester V) jointly got third position, In group dance, team of Sonla and Jasvir Kaur students of M. Voc. (Animation) semester I got first semester II bagged second position. Sukhnandan Kaur (BCA semester V) and Gurjeet Kaur (B.Sc. (IT) semester V) jointly got third position. In group dance, Team of Sonla and Jasvir Kaur students of M.Voc. (Animation) semester I got flrst Position, second position was bagged by the team of Sakshi, Ritika, Harleen, Sandeep and Charanjeet Kaur all students of BCA semester I. Team of Kiran, Priyanka, Jaspreet and Harpreet all students of DCA semester I secured third Position. In Logo Designing event, Tamanna of M.Voc. (Animation) semester II Won the first prize, second prize was won jointly by Harpreet student of B. Voc. (Animation) semester III and Deepali student of M.Voc. (Animation) semester III. Third position in this event was secured by Amandeep Kaur student of B.Voc.(Animation) semester I. In IT Collage event first position was bagged by Deepali Student of M.Voc. (Animation) semester III, second position was jointly bagged by Nikita student of B.Voc. (Animation) semester III and Gurleen Kaur student of B.Voc. (Animation)semester I, third position was bagged by Sonia Bala student of M.Voc. (Animation) semester I. The team of Tarandeep Kaur, Jasmeet Kaur (M.Sc. (IANS semester III), NavroopBhella, Raman, Priya, Shefali (M.Sc. (CS) semester II) was adjudged winner of Ad-Mad Show event. In Rang-Tarang event first Second and third position was bagged by team of Anamika and Simmi (B.Sc. (CS) semester III, team of Bhanu and Raman (10+1 (Medical)) and team of Sejal and Jasmeen (BCA semester I) respectively. In Best out of Waste event, Avleen Kaur student of M.Sc. (CS) semester I got first position, Sejalpreet Kaur student of BCA semester I got second position while third position was jointly bagged by Nisha Sharma student of BCA semester I and Mandeep Kaur student of M.Sc. (CS) Semester I. Team of Meghdeep and Sukhnandan Kaur (BCAsemester V) won first Prize in Net Savvy. Second prize was won by the team of Jasmeet and Kulpreet Kaur (10+2 (Arts) and third prize was won jointly by the team of Mandeep Kaur Multani and Harpreet Kaur (B.Sc. (IT) semester I) along with team of Meera and Pabhjot Kaur (BCA semester V). Bhawna (B.Sc. (IT) semester V), Meghdeep (BCA Semester V) and Aarti (B.Sc. (IT) semester V) bagged first, second and third prize Respectively in Fancy Dress competition. The team of Meghdeep, Simran and SUkhnandan Kaur all students of BCA semester V bagged first position in IT Quiz Competition, second prize was won by team of Nandini Sanger, Harshita and Nandini Sharma all students of B.Sc. (Fashion Designing) semester I) while third Position was bagged by the team of Manleen Kaur (M.Sc, (IANS) semester III Muskan Verma and Rama Manhas (BCA semester II). In modeling event, Salon Student of B.Sc. (FD) semester I got the title of Miss Shining Star, Miss Elegant title Was bagged by Hapreet Kaur student of B.Sc, (IT)’ semester I, Vishakha student of B.Sc. (CS) semester V bagged the title of Miss Graceful while title of Miss Charming Smile was bagged by Pawandeep Kaur student of B.Sc, (IT) semester I.

Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana, Head, PG Department of Computer Applications, Dr. Pardeep Arora, Dr. Ravi Khurana and all the faculty members of PG Department of Computer Science & Applications for their efficient Team work and the flawless coordination of events.
