Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always makes efforts for the students through which they can be provided proper practical education along with the theoretical knowledge. In the same series, PG Department of Fashion Designing organised an educational trip for the students of B.Sc. Fashion Designing semester VRamtex, armeshwari Silk Mills Ltd. Ludhiana. The trip was organised with the objective of making the students aware about the working environment along with the theoretical education of the subject. During this visit, the students got detailed information related to weaving in the centre.
Apart from this, students increased their knowledge by learning about wrapping, shading & spool winding etc. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that such opportunities prove to be helpful in providing the best knowledge to the students about the industrial practices and working in their respective fields which ultimately enhances their practical education.
