KanyaMahaVidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges  (various categories) has successfully commenced Alumni Speaks- a series of inspirational talks under which renowned and prominent alumni of KMV addressKMVites online in order to inspire them.

Under this series, the inspirational talk was organized by the PG Department of Computer Science and Applications which is ranked topmost in ‘Best Value for Money Category’ in India and amongst Top 30 colleges of India as per India Today Surveys of last four years. The guest speaker for the webinar was Ms. Vibhuti Malhotra (Senior QA Analyst ,Apexa Corp ,Toronto, Canada).  She had been a student of B.Sc. (IT) at KMV.

During the webinar, she kicked off with an engaging presentation on thefundamentals of software testing, highlighting its role in ensuring the quality andreliability of software products. Various testing methodologies, including fundamentaltesting, Performance testing, API testing and Security testing were elucidated to providea comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. She explained various job aspects in IT industry regarding testing and also explained the importance of a goal or the ambition in one’s life as she said that if a person has a clear goal and ambition in her mind then no power on earth can stop him or her from achieving that goal.

The event fostered interactive discussions, providing attendees with theopportunity to pose questions and share their insights. Participants got activelyengaged in dialogue, exchanging ideas and best practices related to software testing. She maintained that this type of webinar is very essential for the students as it gives them a very clear idea regarding the skills required to make a powerful career in the IT world, such events motivate the students to follow their dreams fearlessly & confidently. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Suman Khurana from PG Department of Computer Science and all the faculty members of PG Department of Computer Science for successfully organising this inspirational talk.
