Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine organised an intra-college event IT-GAMMAT 2020. The event was organised by the PG Department of Computer Science & Applications. The online event had an overwhelming participation of the students in various events. The events included PowerPoint Presentation, Test your technical knowledge, Debugging, Logo Designing, Best out of the Waste, Fancy Dress, Poster making, Mono Acting and Solitary Ace. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi inaugurated the eventand addressed the students in the beginning of the event. She averred that events like IT-GAMMAT give opportunities to the students to showcase their talent, refine it and learn new things from the process. She highlighted the importance of the IT and job opportunities in the field. She ended her address by quoting “ Pursue excellence in all you do, and success will follow”.After the address, the event commenced with the PowerPoint presentation on the topic Intelligent Apps. After the presentation, the Logos prepared by the students on the very relevant topics of the times – e-Learning and Vocal for Local- Atamnirbhar Bharat were presented one by one. Next came the Beautiful artwork created by the students out of the Waste material under the activity ‘Best out of the Waste’. The event was followed by Fancy Dress on IT/Technical topics. Posters made by the students were also shown&Mono acting and Solitary Ace were the events that were held after that. Also, Debugging and Test your technical skills were conducted as the part of the event. There was an overwhelming participation in the event and students took full advantage of the infotainment opportunity presented before them. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, congratulated the Mrs. Suman Khurana, Head, PG Department of Computer Science & Applications and faculty members of the department for providing opportunity to the students to showcase and hone their talents.
