Home Science Department of Kanya Maha Vidayalaya, Jalandhar has organised an informative lecture on the topic “Exploring the Growing Popularity of Millets as Sustainable and Nutritious Food” on 8th September, 2023 at Veer Astha Bhawan of the college.
A well experienced and qualified professional in the field of food technology was there as a resource person Dr. Sawinder Kaur, Associate Dean, School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. Students from B.Sc. Home Science, B.Voc. (Nutrition, Exercise & Health), DECCE and PGDND joined the lecture very actively.
