Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar The heritage and autonomous institution has celebrated World Copyright day on April 23, 2022. World copyright day was dedicated to promoting the benefits of reading, writing, translating, publishing, and protecting copyrights. Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar is the only institution with maximum number of copyrights granted in the region. 2 faculty members of P.G. Department of Physics namely, Dr. Neetu Verma, Dr. Surbhi has recently published a patent on “System and method for automatically operating stagnate water ejector”. While explaining about the invention, the faculty said that “We have developed an automatic sensor system and three different devices which will start operating on different water levels. Sensor based indicators warn drivers about the depth of stagnated water which can further avoid accidents. Our Water Stagnated Ejector project not only removes water but also stores water for further use. It can help to eject water even at low heights. It is automatic so there is no need to put high manpower on clearing the water from roads.”

Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated both the faculty members. She  said that proposed idea is an effective remedy for the ejection of stagnated water and should be commercially available at institution, cities and inter-cities level. Further she applauded efforts all the faculty members for getting copyrights under their name.
