National science Day is celebrated on February, 28 every year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V Raman. This day is celebrated all over India to encourage scientists, writers, students and others who are involved in the promotion of Science and technology. The theme of National Science day 2022 is “Integrated approach in Science and technology for Sustainable Future”. In this regard an online powerpoint presentation competition based on this year’s theme was conducted .to celebrate the National science Day. Ms. ZubaidaKhanam a post graduate student from the department of zoology gave an interesting speech on the importance of this day to the audience. There were 40 entries for the event and were assessed by Judges Dr.Archanasaini and Dr SadhnaTandon.
Winners and participants were awarded with trophies and participation certificates.
Professor (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV, College appreciated the contribution of the students and congratulated the faculty of the PG Department of zoology for organizing the event.
