The Home-Science department of Kanya Maha Vidyalya, the
heritage institution, under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Atima
Sharma Dwivedi conducted a national webinar on April 12, 2023
and April 13, 2023 for the students of Post Graduate Diploma in
Nutrition and Dietetics and B. Voc.(NEH), to make them aware of
nutrient calculating software Diet-cal and it’s practical applications
in the field of dietetics. The resource person, Mrs Gurdeep
Kaur,chief dietitian, department of Nephrology, AIIMS, New Delhi
conducted hands-on workshop on the working and utility of the
software in the field of nutrition and dietetics. This software
enables to calculate the various nutrients in a short span of time
thereby making the practice for the nutritionists and dieticians
simplified.
