To develop innovative minds among our budding innovators, P.G. Department of Physics, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar an autonomous and Heritage institution organized a one day trip to Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala in collaboration with KMV IIC. Nineteen science students accompanied by 2 faculty members Dr. Surbhi and Ms. Manisha visited Science city on Feb 22, 2024 to enhance their knowledge about the various innovative demonstrations of Science concepts. Students visited various educational galleries like Earthquake Simulator, Flight simulator, Dome theatre, 3-D show & Climate change theatre etc.  They watched models on aircraft & satellites, space shuttles in Space & Aviation Gallery. There was also Fun Science exhibits where around 100 assorted interactive exhibits designed, fabricated & clustered together on the basis of basic science themes.  Students visited to Energy education & Awareness Park where there were various demonstrations regarding various forms of non- conventional energy sources such as Solar energy, wind energy, bio energy & nuclear energy and they also visited sports gallery where there were various illustrations of scientific principles in sports. It was a trip to the place where science, fun & learning are inseparable. Through this trip students were encouraged for innovation and competitiveness in increasing the contribution of science and technology in economic development.
