Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar Institution’s Innovation Council REPORT Start-up & Linkage with Innovation Ambassadors for Mentorship Support
OBJECTIVE: To make participants understand the process of innovation development and startup and how they can convert their idea into a successful program.
BENEFITS OF LEARNING: The participants were able to:
- Understand and Gain access to the wealth of knowledge, experience, and insights that innovation ambassadors bring to the table.
- Students will benefit from their problem-solving skills when faced with challenges, innovation ambassadors can provide alternative perspectives and creative solutions based on their experiences.
- Establish a relationship that extends beyond the initial stages of start-up.
- Explore ethical considerations and best practices for maintaining environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
P.G Dept of Chemistry and P G Department of Zoology of KanyaMahaVidyalaya, Jalandhar in collaboration with Institution’s Innovative Council organisedPoster Presentation competition under the theme of Start-ups & linkage with Innovation Ambassadors for mentorship support on August 22, 2023 under YUKTI program, an initiative of Government of India. The competition was held in offline mode to give a platform to the participants to showcase their idea/start up to get desired support or external visibility with the support of the Institute Innovation Ambassadors. The Innovation Ambassadors DrNarinderjit Kaur and DrMandeep Kaur provided mentorships to the students on innovation and how the projects and ideas can be used to develop the startup. The primary mandate was to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas. Around 90 plus students participated in this event and demonstrated of their innovative ideas having potential for start-ups. In conclusion, the event was a great success leaving all students very encouraged and motivated to explore more of Entrepreneurship towards having their own start-ups. Professor (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV, College appreciated the contribution of the students and congratulated the faculty of the PG Department of Chemistry and PG Department of Zoology for organizing the event.
