Kanya Maha Vidyalaya the Autonomous & Heritage Institution, Jalandhar has been at the forefront in imparting quality education to the students. To fulfill this purpose KMV college organizes Lab Visits during each semester.Lab Visits inculcate critical thinking and experiential learning skills among students by giving them opportunity to visualize, experience and practical understanding of textual knowledge. Under the able guidance of dynamic Madam Principal Dr. Atima Sharma, PG Department of Physics organized a Lab visit to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar  7 students along with  1 teacher of PG Department of Physics have gone to visit the Lab. During this visit students learnt about Gamma Ray spectrometer, heavy element analysis unit, spark chamber for alpha counting and Working of Solid state nuclear track detectors.This lab visit enhanced the knowledge of students and gave them research exposure .It motivates students  to opt for Research in near Future. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Atima Sharma proposed PG Department of Physics to organize fruitful lab visits in future also.
