The P.G. Department of Fashion Designing, organized a webinar on Celebration of Handloom Day on 8th august , 2022 . Dr. Charu Swami (Asst. Prof. Clothing & Textiles, Dept. of Home Science, Dayalbagh Educational Institute and Mohammad Shafi Bhat (Secretary, Mehnafkash Kashmir Weavers Handloom Coorporate Society Ltd. was the speaker of this event. His focus was on creating awareness among the youth of the nation towards the Handloom fabrics and Promoting the Indian craft of Kani work on Kashmiri Shawl,and highlighting its importance among students..The students were very enlightened by his presence. 500+5k on online social media portals.
