Prof. Dr. JaspalSingh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar to deliver the Convocation Address

Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) is organizing the Annual Convocation on May 02, 2023.Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof.( Dr.)Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that during this Convocation, Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhuwill be the Chief Guest&Sh. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal will preside over the function.On this occasion, Dr Sushma Chawla, Vice President,KMV Managing Committee, Mr AlokSondhi, General Secretary, KMV Managing Committee, Dr Sushma Chopra, Secretary, KMV Managing Committee, Mr Dhruv Mittal, Treasurer, KMV Managing Committee, Mrs NeerjaChander Mohan, Dr Satpal Gupta, Dr Kamal Gupta, Mrs Sushila Bhagat, Mrs Neetu Kapoor and other guests will also be present. The Grand rehearsal for the same will be onMay01, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.During the convocation, after the academic procession, the Annual Report of the college will be read out by the KMV PrincipalProf.( Dr.)Atima Sharma Dwivedi  in order to provide details about the glorious achievements of  the college. It will be followed by conferring of Degrees to the students of various Post Graduate & Under Graduate courses for Science, Commerce, Arts&IT streams. Apart from this, journals and news lines describing the achievements and activities of the institution will also be released during the occasion. Prof. Dwivedi further maintained that being a National Institution, KMV has been one of the guiding forces for the women education and women empowerment in India. KMV has many achievements to its credit. Major being the Autonomous status & Heritage status by the Government of India, Star College Status by Government of India, DDU Kaushal Kendra by Government of India, CURIE grant by DST, Skill Hub by Ministry of Education&Institutions Innovation Council granted to KMV by Ministry of Education. Moreover, KMV has also initiated major educational and examination reforms that are all in sync with the New Education Policy of India. Student friendly examination system with transparent and swift evaluation process are the hallmarks of KMV. All these achievements speak a volume about the richheritage of the college. During the conclusion of the program, a cultural program will also be presented by the students showcasing the rich cultural legacy of the nation. Dr. Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare & Mrs. Sabina Batra will be the organizers of the Convocation. Prof. Dwivedi concluded by saying that the students are eagerly awaiting this auspicious occasion.
