Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) participated in three-day Bhai Vir Singh flower-cum-plant exhibition organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. P.G. Department of Botany of KMV participated in 15 categories and secured overall third position along with first and second prizes in various plant categories. KMV also secured first position in Rangoli&Croton competition, whereas KMV secured second position in dieffenbachia,grafted cactus &Aglaonema.It is pertinent to mention that more than 300 entries were displayed in both plants as well as succulents by affiliated colleges, schools and individuals in the competition. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and averred that these kind of competitions helps in developing the spirit of healthy competition among the students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of PG Department of Botany for motivating the students.
