Students Prepare &Send Rakhees to the Soldiers
Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) organised onlineRakhi making competition. The competition was organized by the Department of Student Welfare. The competition witnessed an overwhelming participation of the students as they were enthusiastic to make rakhees for the soldiers. After the competition, the rakhees will be sent to the soldiers.During the competition, the students shared images of their handmade Rakheeswhere they exhibited their talent by showcasing their rakhees. The winners of the competition werePalak, B.Com Sem V, Daljit Kaur &Jinshika, 10+2 Non- medical. PrincipalProf. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated everyone on the festival of RakshaBandhan and averred that the festival of RakshaBandhan teaches us the importance of brother sister relationship as this festival holds a very important place in our Indian culture. She lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare& Head, PG Department of English for the successful organization of the programme.
