KMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. SchoolDepartment of Biology organised visit to Botanical Garden, Zoological Museum and plantation drive to celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity. More than80 students actively participated in thisevent. During the event, studentsplanted different types of plants of medicinal importance, ornamental, fruit plants and shade giving.The main motive of this event was to aware the students to conserve and protect the biodiversity and maintain extensive collections of plants and protect the environment.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV gives utmost priority to environmental conservation as we always motivate students to spread awareness regarding this cause in the society so that younger generation could feel it responsibility. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Ms. Veena Deepak (Co-ordinator, KMV Collegiate School) , Ms. Anand Prabha ( Incharge ) Ms Archana (Head, PG Department of Zoology), Ms. Anita and Ms. Mehak for organising the event successfully
