Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organisedan Indoor Volleyball friendly matchto commemorate National Sports Day with great zeal. The match was organised by Department of Physical Education. The students learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games. Approximatelymore than 100students participated in this activity. PrincipalProf. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that the aim of conducting these types of activities is to raise awareness about the values of sports: discipline, perseverance, sportsman spirit, teamwork, and to encourage students in large to take up sports and make it an integral part of their lives while emphasising on the importance of being fit and healthy. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Davinder Singh and Ms. Baldeenafor conducting this activity.
