Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) honoured its budding innovators and entrepreneurs who are working dedicatedly in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV is privileged to be among the few institutes all over the country for its ecosystem promoting innovation and entrepreneurship amongst its students through Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) set up under Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), Government of India. The young innovators and entrepreneurs of the institution have been actively participating and winning laurels at regional and national level. She further maintained that KMV’s Institution Innovation Council (IIC) has its unique initiatives like tailor-made course on innovation and entrepreneurship – “Innovation Entrepreneurship & Creative Thinking,” intra & inter college business idea competitions, a student body “Womentum” dedicatedly working towards activities on innovation and entrepreneurship, participation in regional and national level hackathons to name a few. KMV also has Pre-incubation centre and IPR cell to guide students to initiate their own small venture. The renowned entrepreneurs, government officials & experts from different fields guide and motivate students regularly under KMV’s IIC. Furthermore, IIC at KMV helps the students to channelize their requirements in terms of financial, technical, and legal aspects. It also creates an innovative environment for the students to discover, develop, deploy their skills and talents. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated faculty and students and expressed her delight towards their achievements of IIC at KMV by highlighting how Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is providing stimulating environment for the students to exhibit their skills, creativity, and innovation.
