Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) always takes initiatives in organizing various informative programs to enhance knowledge and employability skills of the students. Being the pioneer institution for skill development, Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has touched many milestones.In a new initiative, KMV is introducing 28new age add-on certificate courses to add value to degree of students. This type of skill based vocational courses is in sync with New Education Policy of India at undergraduate level. Most of these certificate courses are skill based and aligned with Sector Skill Council, NSDC(Govt. of India) and are certified & valid internationally. Throwing more light on it, Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that KMV offers a wide range of new skill development certificate courses, aimed at improving technical and academic skills in the students. These courses are Retail Sales Associate, Domestic Data entry Operator, Graphic Designer,Assistant Fashion Designer, Self Employed Tailor, Make-up Artist, Commercial Art, Banking and Mental Ability, Nursery Development and Management, Health Fitness,Chemistry for Entrepreneurship and Production, Psychotherapy, Native App Development using Kotlin Android, Data Management and Care, Digital Banking, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning, Vedic Mathematics and many more.Minimum eligibility for these certificate courses is 10+2& these courses can be opted by students along with their regular degree or they can enroll for these certificate courses only. These certificate courses are being offered at minimal fees as these courses will provide support to the students for skill training and certification.These courses are also designed to demonstrate the highest standards of skilling and offers a platform to young people to showcase their talent at national and international levels.Prof. Dwivedi said that these initiatives will bring positive changes because these courseswill enable the studentsto be job ready and will upgrade their skills for better placements.
