Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) observed National Pollution Control Day by organising special series of events. The event was organised by theDepartment of Student Welfare. During the event, students from all streams made posters, rangolis, poems and best out of waste plastic materials depicting the importance of pollution control among the students. Students through the help of posters and slogans highlighted the causes and prevention of pollution and also gave a message to stop all kinds of pollution so that we can sustain our environment. Vajinder, Sapna, Aditi, Isha& Gursimran made beautiful posters, slogans and best out of waste material. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the students & faculty members for organising such social awareness events. She averred that KMV always organise various awareness activities for the students so that the students should feel responsible for environment conservation. She further maintained that it should be the responsibility of every citizen to make consistent efforts for pollution control so that our future generations could live a healthy and prosperous life.
